Millwright Technician

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Dufferin Aggregates - A CRH Company. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance activities, as well as project work, to ensure the efficient operation of our production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain equipment in proper operating condition through preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Perform project work, including process and/or continuous improvement, and participate in annual shut-down teams for overhauls.
- Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment, including belt conveyors, screw conveyors, dust collectors, pumps, pneumatic gates and actuators, compressors, boilers & water heaters, and similar equipment.
- Weld, cut, and braze using different techniques and with different metals.
- Hoist and rig equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of pneumatic components and systems, as well as basic understanding and troubleshooting knowledge of pumps, fans, blowers, and compressors.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and work procedures.
- Knowledge of transmission systems from motors to gearboxes, sheaves/pulleys, shafts, and bearings.
- Industrial Millwright license.
- Completed Millwright Apprenticeship.
- Ability to obtain structural Welding certificate.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors and in varied temperatures and weather conditions, with some instances of working at heights.
- Ability to work indoors in varied conditions, including confined spaces.
- Physical ability to lift upwards of 50lbs on a consistent basis.
