About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Global Partner Investment and Incentive Team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic growth and developing innovative solutions to partner risk and compliance challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Incentive Risk Policies

Design and execute incentive risk policies that align with business objectives, including intake and review of business cases, definition and prioritization of business value, stakeholder alignment, and go-to-market strategies for pilots, promotions, experiments, or new/updated incentives through lifecycle management framework.

Own Go-to-Market Strategies

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new incentive risk policies, communicating partner needs to internal teams and driving key goals to accelerate partner successes and revenue growth.

Develop GTM Plans for New Incentive Risk Policies

Design and execute go-to-market plans for new incentive risk policies that support all partners eligible for AWS investments through global Channel Partners, ISV partners, and SI partners.

Partner Engagement and Collaboration

Work directly with partners to develop new incentive risk policy structures and delivery plans in partner deals, effectively communicating and collaborating across multiple stakeholders, including AWS Sales, Partner Core, Service teams, System teams, and presenting to senior leadership on business roadmaps.

Subject Matter Expertise

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for incentive risk policy between business teams and technical teams, including systems, services teams, and functional teams (risk, finance, legal, tax, accounting).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
