Job Summary:

A&W Restaurants is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurants in Campbell River, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining high-quality food and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of food preparation staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Staff Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure skill transfer to new employees.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and corporate brand standards.
  • Cash Handling and Operations: Manage cash, opening, and closing procedures with accuracy, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in food preparation, with previous supervisory experience an asset.
  • Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
