About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sushi Mong. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
  • Cash Handling and Record Keeping: Manage cash handling and maintain accurate records of sales, stock, and repairs, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
  • Work Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels, meeting the needs of our customers and the business.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. We are a recognized employer, offering a stable and supportive work environment.
