About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Young Pocha Korean BBQ Restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits, ensuring we stay competitive in the market.
  • Develop a comprehensive budget to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies, taking into account seasonal fluctuations.
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant's financial situation, balancing revenue goals with customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and make informed decisions about staffing levels.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Recruit and onboard new staff members, ensuring they understand our values and standards.
  • Set schedules and manage staff workloads to meet business needs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, securing the best possible deals.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, helping to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to their satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, building loyalty and encouraging repeat business.
  • Manage events and promotions, creating memorable experiences for our customers.
About You
  • You have 3+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, with a proven track record of success.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and lead a team.
  • You are organized and reliable, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • You are fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
  • You are available to work 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
