About the Role

This is a permanent, 30 hours per week position that requires strong organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating human resources policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policies and Programs: Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  • Training and Development: Train staff and manage training and development strategies
  • Advice and Consultation: Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs and collective agreements
  • Recruitment and Selection: Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies, recruit and hire staff, conduct performance reviews
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 5 years or more of experience in human resources
  • Strong knowledge of human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, and Internet
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
