Role Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Medical Oncology Specialist to work as a Hospitalist, providing top-notch care to patients in need. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care, from initial consultation to treatment and follow-up.

Responsibilities
  • Providing expert medical oncology care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of complex cases;
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care;
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records;
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities;
  • Complying with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong background in Medical Oncology, with a focus on hospital medicine;
  • Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License - Provisional;
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
  • Provision of excellent patient care, with a focus on safety, quality, and patient-centeredness.
