Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Home Centre Cashier to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
- Bag and assist with carrying out purchases, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining merchandise displays, ensuring a visually appealing and organized store environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customers and transactions simultaneously.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with a strong focus on building customer relationships and loyalty.
- Team player with the ability to work independently, collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with some heavy lifting required.
- Applicants must be over 14 years old, with a valid Social Insurance Number required for employment.
