About the Role

The Category Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, vendor processes, and product lines to inform strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Category Business Managers to develop and implement category strategies that meet business objectives and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a retail analytical role, with a strong understanding of business operations and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and formats.
