About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team at FNX-INNOV. As an Environmental Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the execution of environmental projects for industrial, government, and private clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in field and office work;
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the execution and management of projects for clients in the fields of environmental evaluation, environmental characterization, and site rehabilitation (Phases I, II, III, IV);
  • Conduct studies and evaluations, preliminary and detailed concept;
  • Ensure the coordination of technical personnel for field activities;
  • Be a key point of contact for our clients to discuss mandates and propose solutions to their problems;
  • Compile data and write reports;
  • Ensure liaison with stakeholders and respond to client requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geology, mining, or water, with an option in environment or equivalent;
  • Master's degree or microprogram in environmental evaluation (an asset);
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec or the Order of Geologists of Quebec;
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the field;
  • Good synthesis skills, rapid execution and decision-making;
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness;
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the field of environmental characterization and rehabilitation, and the intervention guide and environmental sampling guides;
  • Knowledge of the MELCC intervention guide;
  • Very good written and spoken French (bilingual French/English is an asset);
  • ASP safety card on construction sites;
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
