Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living Tillsonburg. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and mental health disabilities in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and office support as needed
  • Assess clients' skill strengths and development needs
  • Perform housekeeping and food preparation tasks
  • Resolve conflict situations and provide emotional support
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers
  • Assist clients with special needs and accompany them to appointments and social outings
Requirements:
  • Developmental Services Worker (DSW) Training
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Child Abuse Registry check
