Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account room availability and guest preferences
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, including responding to guest emergencies and maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Perform clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist guests with special needs, such as providing wheelchair accessibility and accommodations
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls and provide general information about hotel services and amenities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Work Environment

The Front Desk Agent will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with frequent interactions with guests and staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
