Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account room availability and guest preferences
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, including responding to guest emergencies and maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Perform clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist guests with special needs, such as providing wheelchair accessibility and accommodations
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls and provide general information about hotel services and amenities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a customer service or hospitality role an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Work Environment

As a Front Desk Agent at Comfort Inn & Suites, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, interacting with guests and staff on a daily basis. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and may be required to work on weekends and holidays.
