We are seeking a skilled and experienced truck driver to join our team at Avka Trucking INC. as an Oversight Transportation Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive and operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials within Canada, across borders, and over long distances.
- Collaborate with dispatchers to plan routes, coordinate logistics, and ensure timely delivery of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, distance traveled, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify and address any issues or damage.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide exceptional customer service and build trust.
As a successful candidate, you will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class 1).
- Ability to drive for extended periods and adapt to changing weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and perform demanding tasks.
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong organizational skills.
