About the Role:

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including dental, health care, and vision care benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute menus that showcase the resort's commitment to quality and freshness
  • Estimate food costs and manage inventory to ensure optimal profitability
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of quality and cleanliness
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior chef role
  • Proven track record of menu planning and execution
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
