**Job Overview**

As a key member of our Easton's Group of Hotels team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of banquet events. This includes setting up and breaking down meeting rooms, banquet spaces, and ballrooms, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of corridors, vending areas, elevators, and service areas.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Set up and break down tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment, and platforms/stages, as specified by group requirements.
  • Clean, store, and secure all tables, chairs, and audio-visual equipment, platforms/stages, and other equipment used for banquet functions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of banquet rooms, banquet hallways, and storage and service areas.
  • Inspect the cleanliness and working condition of all equipment to be set up in function areas and report any damages or issues to your supervisor.
  • Refresh rooms during breaks by replenishing supplies, water pitchers, etc.
  • Retrieve clean linen and skirting and stock in storage areas.
  • Pick up and deliver all boxes and materials (flip charts, easels, blackboards, etc.) for functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to all Company and Brand Standards.

**Qualifications and Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic reading and writing and mathematical skills.
  • General knowledge of banquet operations is preferred.

**Physical Demands**

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Carrying or lifting items of up to and including 100 pounds (e.g., tables, chairs, stages) occurs frequently.
  • Moving about the function areas.
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling.

**Other Requirements**

  • Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Reading and writing abilities for banquet event orders and instructions.
  • Basic math skills for setting up tables, settings, chairs, etc.
  • Alcohol Awareness certification as required by local or state government agency.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
