Job Overview
As a key member of our Easton's Group of Hotels team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our banquet facilities. This includes setting up and breaking down meeting rooms, banquet space, and ballroom areas, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of corridors, vending areas, elevators, and landings.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and/or break down tables, chairs, audio visual equipment, and platforms/stages as specified by group requirements.
- Clean, store, and secure all tables, chairs, and audio/visual equipment in an organized manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness of banquet rooms, banquet hallways, and storage and service areas.
- Inspect the cleanliness and working condition of all equipment to be set up in function areas and report any damages or issues to your supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
This role requires basic reading and writing skills, as well as general knowledge of banquet operations. You must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, carry or lift items of up to 100 pounds, and move about the function areas. You will also be required to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
