Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Namaste India Restaurant and Bar. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet our high standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and prepared for peak periods.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and submit reports, providing management with key performance indicators and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
