We are seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Recovery Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Sask.
Job Summary:
As a Substance Abuse Recovery Specialist, you will provide recovery services to individuals affected by substance abuse and their family members. This role involves screening and ongoing assessment activities, individual and group counseling, case management, and community resource involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide recovery services to individuals affected by substance abuse and their family members
- Screen and conduct ongoing assessments of clients
- Develop and implement treatment plans for clients
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
- Manage client cases and files
- Involvement with community resources
Requirements:
- Chemical Dependency diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
