About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse B to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Job Summary

The Detox Nurse will provide nursing care to clients participating in the Brief and Social Detox Programs in the Saskatoon Heath Region. The incumbent must be familiar with current drugs of abuse and withdrawal management strategies as well as provincial resources available to assist in identifying the most appropriate care plan for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage and provide nursing support to clients with acute medical, psychiatric, and detoxification issues
  • Facilitate the development and monitor compliance of Withdrawal Management, Medication Management, and Medical Protocols in the Brief and Social Detox Program
  • Develop strong service relationships with attending physicians, team members, and other related service partners in the Saskatoon Health Region and throughout the province
Requirements
  • 3 years combined experience in addictions recovery
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) membership
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $42,040 to $52,440 per year, based on the location and job requirements.
