Job Overview

The Branch Director position is a dynamic leadership opportunity within Le Groupe Master

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate branch operations to achieve organizational goals.
  2. Plan, administer, and control budgets for contracts, equipment, inventory, supplies, etc.
  3. Maintain effective administrative management practices.
  4. Provide support to client services, including answering client calls and offering technical support to clients and employees.
  5. Take client orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
  6. Plan and participate in annual inventory activities.
  7. Interview, hire, and oversee training of staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
  8. Manage internal staff, providing leadership, motivation, and coaching to achieve team goals.
  9. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient product availability.
  10. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve objectives and increase revenue.
  11. Create a positive working climate that fosters sales efficiency and professional development of team members.
  12. Evaluate the needs of the team and make recommendations for necessary actions.
  13. Stay updated on markets, trends, and developments in the industry to stay ahead of competitors' activities.
  14. Develop and maintain good business relations with internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Resolve technical problems related to products in a timely and effective manner.
  16. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. 5 years experience or more in the HVAC-R industry (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration)
  2. Experience in a wholesale distribution environment
  3. Excellent leadership, motivation, and coaching skills with a focus on people and results.
  4. Good interpersonal relationships and ability to work as a team player.
  5. Strong analytical skills and ability to support convictions with sound reasoning.
  6. Excellent skills in planning, organization, and time management.
  7. Ability to make decisions and work independently.
  8. Strong sales abilities and persuasiveness to drive revenue growth.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  10. Proactive initiative and resourcefulness to solve problems and seize opportunities.
  11. Efficient and results-oriented approach to tasks and responsibilities.
  12. Diplomacy and courtesy in dealing with diverse stakeholders.
  13. Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with Master employees and suppliers based in our offices in Ontario, Western Canada and Maritimes, and interactions in French with suppliers and employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
