Are you an accomplished academic leader seeking a new challenge? We are currently seeking a Dean for our university, responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative aspects of our institution.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we continue to grow and evolve. As a Dean, you will be responsible for:
- Directing and controlling academic activities, ensuring high standards of education and research;
- Evaluating academic programs and making recommendations for improvement;
- Developing and implementing curriculum for training programs, aligning with industry needs;
- Mentoring and guiding staff, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration;
- Working closely with government regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with provincial standards;
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, paramedical services coverage, vision care benefits, life insurance, pension plan, maternity and parental benefits, learning/training paid by employer, on-site amenities, on-site daycare available, on-site recreation and activities, wellness program, and work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 35 hours per week.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field, at least 5 years of experience in academic leadership, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
