Director of International Partnerships, Development, and Innovation

Algoma University is seeking a visionary leader to drive the development and implementation of innovative strategic alliances and growth opportunities, both domestically and internationally. As the Director of International Partnerships, Development, and Innovation, you will play a critical role in shaping the university's global presence and reputation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team at Algoma University. As the Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partnerships and international operations plan, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding the university's global reach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Partnerships, Development, and Innovation Plan, aligned with the university's strategic objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, government agencies, and corporate entities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging the university's strengths and expertise.
  • Develop and execute international marketing strategies to promote the university's programs and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality programs and services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships and international operations, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with 8+ years of management and leadership experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in maintaining multiple stakeholder relationships, representing the education sector.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of educational concepts and learning environments, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
