Director of International Partnerships, Development, and Innovation

Algoma University is seeking a visionary leader to drive the development of international partnerships and innovation initiatives. As the Director of International Partnerships, Development, and Innovation, you will play a key role in shaping the university's global strategy and fostering collaborative relationships with international organizations, universities, and foundations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative strategic alliances and growth opportunities, with a focus on international partnerships and development. You will work closely with the Associate Vice President, Academic and Continuing Education, to develop and implement a comprehensive plan to advance the university's global engagement and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to advance the university's international partnerships and innovation initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with international organizations, universities, and foundations to foster collaborative partnerships and drive growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the university's strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to address emerging needs and trends in the international education sector.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement international partnerships and innovation initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of international partnerships and innovation initiatives, and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with 8+ years of management and leadership experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in maintaining multiple stakeholder relationships representing the education sector.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to synthesize information in a complex and changing environment.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with international partners.
  • Knowledge of educational concepts and learning environments, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
