Job Title: Mechanical Site Superintendent

The Mechanical Site Superintendent plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects on schedule and within budget. This position oversees highly skilled maintenance, installation, and renovation work, ensuring quality and compliance with job standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and coordinate daily work activities for multiple job sites, ensuring efficient use of resources and personnel.
  2. Collaborate with Project Managers, Coordinators, Field Operations Manager, and the Vice President, Operations to manage daily activities and make informed decisions.
  3. Coordinate work activities with subtrades, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Oversee, manage, and coordinate Assistant Site Superintendents and Construction Assistants to achieve project goals.
  5. Attend site meetings to discuss project progress, address concerns, and make adjustments as needed.
  6. Assist with managing and controlling costs related to sub-contractors, suppliers, and manpower, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  7. Track daily, weekly, and monthly manpower to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  8. Complete required safety paperwork daily to maintain a safe working environment.
  9. Monitor project schedule and manpower for delays, making adjustments to prevent project setbacks.
  10. Ensure compliance with installation specifications for all trades, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  11. Work closely with Foremen/Sub Trades to complete projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
  12. Be available for and check up on crews working weekends or after hours, ensuring their well-being and productivity.
  13. Submit requests for information to Project Managers when required by the Foreman or unclear documentation.
  14. Ensure deficiencies are corrected as soon as possible for all trades, maintaining project momentum.
  15. Develop relationships with clients for future business opportunities, fostering a positive reputation for Harbinger Network Inc.
  16. Ensure sites are safe, and owner property/valuables are protected from damage, maintaining a secure working environment.
  17. Ensure sites are clean and tidy at the end of each shift, promoting a professional image.
  18. Enforce staff and subtrade compliance with company policies, owner policies, Ontario Health and Safety Act, and other legal requirements.
  19. Assist on-site by providing labor to complete tasks/projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  20. Assist and push to ensure projects are closed out and fully completed as fast as possible, maintaining project momentum.
