Nuclear Inspector Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Inspector to join our team at BWX Technologies, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-destructive examinations to ensure the quality and integrity of nuclear components.
  • Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
  • Create inspection reports and maintain documentation.
  • Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and customer representatives.
  • Work in a safe manner, complying with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must possess MT Level 2 and PT Level 2, plus 2 of the following: CEDO, UT, CGSB-1, RT, or 2 years of experience as a Fabrication/Machining inspector with BWXT.
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in the nuclear power-related industry.
  • Commitment to quality and ability to work as a positive, effective team member.
  • Proficiency with computer software.
  • Availability to work all shifts.
