Nuclear Inspector Level A1P at BWX Technologies, Inc.
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Inspector Level A1P to join our team at BWX Technologies, Inc. in Cambridge, Ontario. As a Nuclear Inspector Level A1P, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our nuclear power generation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform non-destructive examinations (NDE) to ensure the integrity of nuclear components.
- Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
- Create inspection reports and maintain documentation.
- Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members and customer representatives.
- Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines and regulations.
- Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.
- Proven commitment to workplace safety.
- Must possess MT CGSB-2 or PT CGSB-2, plus one of the following: CEDO UT CGSB-1, RT CGSB-1, or 2 years of experience as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWX Technologies, Inc.
- Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in the nuclear power-related industry.
- Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member.
- Proficient with computer software.
- Availability to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
