Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Inspector Level A to join our team at BWX Technologies. As a Nuclear Inspector Level A, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive examinations and ensuring the quality of our nuclear power generation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform non-destructive examinations in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Read and interpret technical documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
  • Create inspection reports and maintain documentation.
  • Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and customer representatives.
  • Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines and regulations.
  • Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must possess one of the following certifications: CEDO, UT CGSB-1, RT CGSB-1, or 2 years of experience as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWX Technologies.
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in the nuclear power-related industry.
  • Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member.
  • Proficient with computer software.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including days and nights.
