Nuclear Inspector - Level A1P at BWX Technologies, Inc.

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Inspector - Level A1P to join our team at BWX Technologies, Inc. in Cambridge, Ontario. As a Nuclear Inspector - Level A1P, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our nuclear power generation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform non-destructive examinations (NDE) to ensure the integrity of nuclear components.
  • Read and interpret technical documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
  • Create inspection reports and maintain documentation.
  • Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and customer representatives.
  • Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines and regulations.
  • Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.
Requirements:
  • Proven commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must possess MT CGSB-2 or PT CGSB-2, plus one of the following: CEDO UT CGSB-1, RT CGSB-1, or 2 years of experience as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWX Technologies, Inc.
  • Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in the nuclear power-related industry.
  • Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member.
  • Proficient with computer software.
  • Availability to work any of the following shifts: days, nights, or weekends.
