Position: Inspector Level C

Compensation: Hourly rate of pay: $45.15

As a key member of our production team, your role as an Inspector Level C is vital to our success in meeting customer expectations for quality, cost, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct non-destructive examinations across all areas of the shop.
  2. Interpret technical documentation, including schematics and operational procedures.
  3. Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
  4. Exhibit high standards of workmanship and operational practices.
  5. Effectively communicate with team members, including peers, production leadership, project management, and engineering.
  6. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations while working safely.
  7. Understand and comply with quality standards and productivity goals.
Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
  2. Must hold MT Level 2 and PT Level 2 certifications, along with two of the following:
  • CEDO
  • UT CGSB-1
  • RT CGSB-1
Minimum of 2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector with BWXT.5 years of experience as a Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented proof from an external organization or 5 years of Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT.Certified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2).Prior experience in a heavy manufacturing setting or the nuclear power sector.Strong commitment to quality and teamwork, with a willingness to exceed customer expectations.Proficient in computer software applications.Availability to work various shifts, including:
  • Weekday days: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Mon – Thurs)
  • Weekday afternoons: 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. (Mon – Thurs)
  • Weekend days: 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours)
  • Weekend afternoons: 5:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours)
