Job Title: Floor Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Floor Clerk to join our team at Canadian Tire Store. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations to customers.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and parking lot.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and counting merchandise, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Sales Support: Support sales associates with customer transactions, including processing payments and handling returns.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with sales associates and other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience.
  • Work Setting: Department store environment.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
