Menzies Aviation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Ramp Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our ground handling services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and allocate staff and resources to meet service standards for customer airlines.
  • Ensure ground handling is delivered safely, on time, and consistently in line with service level standards.
  • Manage day-to-day operational performance, safety, security, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with local working unions and adapt to changing demands and circumstances.
  • Ensure compliance with all airlines' ground handling regulations and local airport authorities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop staff to achieve high levels of customer service and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership skills and experience in ramp handling.
  • Valid driver's license and DA.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs when required.
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 18 years of age and legally able to work in Canada.
  • Extensive experience in ramp handling and good understanding of operational departments.
  • Proficient knowledge of IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement.
  • Familiar with GOMs, airline procedures, airport procedures, and airport legislations.
