Sales Supervisor

Westburne, a leading electrical and automation industry company, is seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team. As a Sales Supervisor, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit targeted clients to build relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Process orders, respond to customer inquiries, and provide quotes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure all incoming calls are handled promptly and professionally
  • Monitor and adjust workload to ensure a balanced distribution of tasks
  • Review and distribute incoming purchase orders, and ensure all orders are accurately entered
  • Determine whether a quote request should be handled by the order desk or forwarded to the estimating department
  • Identify and ensure client needs for project-related stock are met and available as scheduled
  • Collaborate closely with purchasing and sales teams to identify opportunities and stock needs
  • Organize lunches and information sessions with manufacturer representatives
  • Consistently deliver a high level of customer service
  • Act as a brand ambassador, reinforcing brand recognition while supporting sales initiatives and enhancing customer experiences

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferably, at least 2 years of direct management or supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with staff and establish relationships with clients
  • Ability to read instructions, memos, and product technical sheets
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to convey knowledge
  • Good knowledge of the AS400 system and proficiency in MS Office
  • Bilingual (French/English)
