Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Supervisor to oversee our internal sales operations. This role involves managing and supporting the internal sales and counter teams. You will collaborate closely with field sales and purchasing teams, as well as engage with customers through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visits to key clients
  • Handle orders, inquiries, and quotations, providing assistance at the counter and order desk
  • Ensure timely response to all incoming calls
  • Regularly assess workload and maintain an equitable distribution of tasks
  • Review and allocate incoming purchase orders, ensuring accurate entry of all orders
  • Decide if quote requests should be managed by the order desk or referred to the quoting department
  • Identify and confirm project stock requirements for clients
  • Work with purchasing and sales teams to pinpoint stock needs and opportunities
  • Organize informational sessions and lunches with manufacturer representatives
  • Uphold a high standard of customer service consistently
  • Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing brand recognition and supporting sales initiatives

Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a suitable combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and foster customer relationships
  • Ability to interpret instructions, memos, and product specifications
  • Skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks and working under pressure with a positive demeanor
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, with a focus on knowledge sharing
  • Proficient in AS400 system and Microsoft Office applications
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English
