Job Summary

The Site Auditor-TIC is a key role within Great Canadian Entertainment, responsible for overseeing the work of the Audit team and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and lead by example.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the work of the Audit team and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Review and balance gaming revenues and volumes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, and implement departmental strategic plans.
  • Respond to, resolve or escalate Audit issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Communicate effectively with all operational departments and stakeholders, including guests and team members.
  • Build strong working relationships with guests, ownership, regulatory bodies and team members.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, ownership, regulatory bodies and team members.
  • Coaches a team of engaged team members who care passionately about the business, site operations, and delivering a great guest experience.
  • Stewards workplace health, safety and wellness with a focus on team member education & training, workplace inspections and accident prevention not reaction.
  • Anticipates operational and service issues before they escalate, trouble-shoots and resolves guest concerns before they are complaints.
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administration; minimum 1 year in casino operations an asset.
  • Previous supervisory experience an asset.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service-oriented communication.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required.

Work Environment Considerations

  • Work within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible hours when required (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays).
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards and position.
