Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Auditor-TIC to join our team at Great Canadian Entertainment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising the work of the Audit team, reviewing and balancing gaming revenues and volumes, and ensuring adherence to the Company's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Audit team in creating an engaged work environment by promoting positivity, recognizing excellent peer performance, and supporting colleagues.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to the Audit team, ensuring continuous coaching for success and high performance.
  • Assist in implementing departmental strategic plans and responding to, resolving, or escalating Audit issues.
  • Review, enter, and balance daily gaming revenues, and may assist with payroll and scheduling reconciliation.
  • Distribute revenue reports to management and regulatory bodies, and review cage closeouts (at some locations).
  • Communicate effectively with operational departments and build strong working relationships with guests and team members.
  • Comply with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations, and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Coach a team of engaged team members who care passionately about the business, site operations, and delivering a great guest experience.
  • Steward workplace health, safety, and wellness, focusing on team member education and training, workplace inspections, and accident prevention.
  • Anticipate operational and service issues, trouble-shoot, and resolve guest concerns before they become complaints.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administration; minimum 1 year in casino operations an asset
  • Previous supervisory experience an asset
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required

Work Environment Considerations

  • Work within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible hours when required (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards, and position.
