We are currently seeking a driven and energetic individual to join our team at Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands as a **Full-time **Security Supervisor **. Under the general supervision of the Manager of the **Security Department, **this position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of security operations at the site level. Assists with the implementation all new security operations initiatives. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures, positively contributes to an entrepreneurial culture that is nimble, energized and growth oriented as well as responsible for the safety and protection of employees, guests, the facility and company assets at the site level. Above all else, must be aligned with, and promote, Shorelines Casinos culture and philosophy of creating a great, memorable experience for our guests and colleagues.

**Duties and Responsibilities Include**:
Exceed guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service

Help create an engaged work environment by choosing positivity and fun, recognizing excellent peer performance, and by caring about and supporting our colleagues every day

Mentors, coaches and trains front line security staff, including best practices for the non-gaming record keeping system

Adhere to all company and legislative policies and procedures as they relate to functions of the position

Monitors, documents and reports internal and external violations, unsafe conditions, potential hazards, suspicious persons and activities; prepares electronic statements via a non-gaming record keeping system

Enforces restricted access by unauthorized persons

Administers and maintains various critical security systems

Tags and reports found property; transfers to Lost & Found

Conducts regular patrols of the interior and exterior as directed

Performs electronic surveillance; maintains site surveillance equipment; reports issues

Escorts guests and employees as directed

Performs identification checks as required

Performs crowd control as directed

May enroll guests in the Self-Exclusion Program at some locations

Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments

Builds strong working relationships with guests and employees

Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations

Performs other duties as assigned or directed

People-focused and committed to service excellence

Proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed

Secondary School Diploma; Post Secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset

Minimum 2 years security experience in a gaming environment; supervisory experience an asset; surveillance experience an asset

Must be willing to recertify every 3 years for Use of Force

Current First Aid and CPR with minimum 2 year validation period remaining

Can understand, speak and write English; fluency in other languages an asset

Computer literacy in MS Office

Ability to obtain and maintain a SmartServe Certificate

Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License
