Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Support Professional to join our team at North Hills Care Centre in Kamloops. This is a Casual opportunity with varying hours and no guaranteed work schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Perform administrative tasks including registering patients, answering phones, and managing medical records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Utilize computer software and systems to complete tasks efficiently
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Medical Office Assistant certificate from an accredited institution
- Two years of recent experience in a healthcare setting
- Valid BC Driver's License
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to type at least 40 wpm
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical information systems
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
