About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our medical team at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $122,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will practice in a variety of clinical settings and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of client care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing clients' health needs and developing personalized care plans
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Delivering client-centered care by assisting individuals and their families respond to changing healthcare needs
Work Environment

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a 20-bed General Medical floor with a team nursing mix of RNs and LPNs. Our hospital works collaboratively with various specialists, including Hospitalists, Respirologists, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Gastroenterology, and General Surgeons.

Nurses work 12-hour days and nights as required, providing a dynamic and challenging work environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
