Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Dormez-vous?. This role will involve coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendors, and ensuring that all maintenance expenses are within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance
  • Manage and coordinate vendors, including scheduling and monitoring work
  • Ensure that all maintenance expenses are within budget
  • Work with internal associates and vendors on a daily basis
  • Coordinate with Property Managers for store maintenance
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety policies are in place and that all WSIB Insurance Certificates are up to date
  • Coordinate new store builds with regional sales teams
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in building/janitorial maintenance or a similar role
  • Trade experience (electrical, plumbing, etc.) or construction experience would be an asset
  • Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organization, time management skills, and ability to prioritize urgent situations in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization and external vendors
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Valid Province of Quebec, Class "5" Driver's License
  • Ability to travel to various locations in Quebec
  • Fully fluent in both written and verbal French and English
