Lubrication Specialist

BC LTD is seeking a skilled Lubrication Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment by performing lubrication tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids to maintain optimal equipment performance.
- Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed to ensure efficient workflow.
- Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment.
- Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment to prevent wear and tear.
- Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators to maintain equipment integrity.
- Provide on-site services to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Repair and balance tires to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- 20/20 vision to ensure accurate work.
- Ability to distinguish between colors to identify equipment components.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate lubrication and maintenance.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling to access equipment components.
- Fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
- Hand-eye coordination to perform tasks accurately.
- Manual dexterity to handle equipment components.
- Overtime required to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
- Physically demanding to lift and move equipment components.
- Standing for extended periods to perform tasks.
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) to lift and move equipment components.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments.
- Judgement to make informed decisions regarding equipment maintenance.
- Reliability to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
- Team player to collaborate with mechanics and other team members.
- Will train to ensure proficiency in lubrication and maintenance tasks.
- Permanent position with 40 hours per week.
- Language of work: English.
