About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Security Manager - Physical to join our team at Webuild. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security strategy that safeguards our assets, passengers, employees, and information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Security Planning: Develop, implement, and oversee the corporate security strategy, policies, and procedures.
  • Align Security Strategies: Align security strategies with the overall goals and mission of Webuild.
  • Risk Assessment and Threat Analysis: Conduct regular risk assessments and threat analyses to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead the Security Department, providing direction, mentorship, and support to security personnel.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate with other departments, including IT, HR, and operations, to integrate security measures across the organization.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget for security operations and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Crisis and Incident Management: Develop and maintain crisis management and emergency response plans.
  • Public Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of passengers, employees, and infrastructure, including transit stations, vehicles, and facilities.
  • Security Measures: Implement and oversee security measures, including surveillance systems, access control, and patrolling.
  • Security Awareness and Training: Develop and promote security awareness and training programs for staff and the public.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Security Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging security technologies and trends.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement in security practices and protocols.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a senior security role, preferably within the transportation, infrastructure, or public sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in security risk management, emergency response, and crisis management.
  • Strong knowledge of security technologies, systems, and best practices.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, CIS) and in cybersecurity technologies and tools, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and antivirus software would be an asset.
