Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement coaching skills to drive engagement and improve performance.
- Conduct regular meetings with Lead Hands to discuss progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with the Manager to implement new technologies and processes to enhance security and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and identify and execute action items to close compliance gaps.
- Supervise all aspects of security operations, including monitoring, reporting, and responding to incidents.
- Maintain currency of knowledge in security systems, equipment, and techniques, and schedule daily activities to ensure qualified coverage.
- Investigate complaints, thefts, and suspicious activities, and provide feedback to tenants and management.
- Mediate internal conflicts, provide evaluations and recommendations, and interview, hire, and discipline staff as needed.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level - C certification
- Covid-19 - Fully Vaccinated (Min 2 doses)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working in Security or equivalent
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of applicable federal, provincial, and municipal legislation and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
