Key Responsibilities:- Assess the needs of individual residents and develop personalized care plans to promote maximum independence.
- Participate in the pre-move-in and ongoing assessments of residents' health and wellness needs, making recommendations as necessary.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, including medication administration and treatment plans.
- Supervise and guide care given by attendants or designated staff, ensuring adherence to resident care plans.
- Provide direct resident care, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments as required.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans that support residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance resident care.
- Current RPN licensure and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Minimum of grade 12 education required.
- Previous experience working as an RPN in a healthcare setting is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
