Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide personal care, including feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance.
- Administer medications and perform other medical-related tasks as directed by the nurse.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, including laundry and housekeeping duties.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Requirements:
- Certification in Personal Support Work or equivalent experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
- CPR Certificate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
