About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served to our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff.
    • Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to our high standards.
    • Monitor and control food costs, including inventory management and waste reduction.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, including prompt and friendly service.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including sales, inventory, and labor costs.
    • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
    • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as hospitality or culinary arts.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
