Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at Ontario INC.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced greenhouse environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean the crops and clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas
  • Perform greenhouse cleaning and mixing fertilizer tasks
  • Tie and secure plants, weed, and spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides
  • Mix and prepare soils, plant bulbs and seeds, pot and re-pot plants, and transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
  • Apply fertilizers and report signs of insect or disease damage
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean work area
Requirements
  • Own transportation, as public transportation is not available
  • Ability to work in a rural area and handle physical demands of the job
  • Reliability and team player skills
