Customer Service and Cargo Handler

Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking a Customer Service and Cargo Agent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience for our passengers. Your duties will include checking passengers in, issuing boarding passes, verifying immigration documents, and handling cargo shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check-in passengers, issue boarding passes, and verify immigration documents
- Check baggage and collect excess baggage/overweight charges
- Answer calls, book, change and cancel flight reservations
- Resolve service disruption issues, such as cancelled or missed flights, and determine alternative flight options
- Execute deplaning and boarding processes, ensuring a safe and on-time departure
- Process cargo shipments
Requirements:
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to have difficult conversations
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive, ever-changing environment with multitasking and problem-solving as key attributes
- Comfortable using computers and credit/debit machines
- Flexible to work any day of the week, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and/or irregular shifts
