Job Title: Automotive Service Advisor

Neddy's North Bay Hyundai is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.

The Service Advisor serves as the primary customer service point-of-contact between the customer and the mechanics when a vehicle is in for repair. The Service Advisor intakes the vehicle, confirms the concerns with the customer, advises the customer of recommended maintenance/repairs, creates estimates, and communicates with the technicians to ensure the vehicle is repaired correctly and the customer is satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating, editing and closing Service repair orders
  • Booking customer appointments via phone or email
  • Verifying warranty and service contract coverage
  • Advising customers of recommended maintenance and corrective repairs
  • Creating estimates for customers
  • Describing to customers the symptoms, problems, and causes discovered as well as corrective actions required for their vehicle
  • Maintaining a positive customer rapport and records
  • Performing Follow up calls/emails after Service appointments to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor
  • 4 years of experience in customer service
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Computer literacy and fast typing skills
  • Passion for vehicles
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Technical automotive knowledge
  • Experience with computerized repair ordering systems
  • Ability to keep up with a fast-paced work environment
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is a strong asset
