Mona Corporation is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our construction team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. You will also build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems. Additionally, you will fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field and be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments. The work setting will be in construction, with various locations, including commercial and industrial settings. The tasks will involve a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as handling heavy loads and working under tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be a team player with accurate and reliable skills, and will be able to work 40 hours per week. The work term will be permanent, and the work language will be English.
